One of Barden’s most appealing points is that quality is NOT an extra cost option. Most people take the package price directly from the price list and simply order their home. It’s not necessary to upgrade the floor and roof systems, shingles, etc., to bring the home up to first quality specs… with Barden it’s there from the start. Changes based on your individual taste can be easily accommodated.

Barden’s Log package, a full timber log home package with many different log styles & corner options, is one of the most versatile log home packages on the market today. We are happy to deliver your log home package with a full interior package, including: interior doors & trim, kitchen cabinets & countertops, vanities & vanity tops, stairs & railings from the basement up, garage doors (with openers & professional installation included), tongue & groove finish for interior walls or ceilings, post & beam second floor packages, decorative beams and log trusses… virtually anything you can dream of!

Barden’s Panelized Log package, a system where sections of the home are pre-assembled and log siding and corners are applied to the exterior on site, is unique in that it combines the quality of a custom log home with the affordability of a panelized home. The panelized system differs from modulars in that it does not suffer from the flexing and deterioration that takes place when a finished home is transported over the road and then set by a crane. All of our Barden Panelized Log packages are available with the same options as our Log system packages, yet you have the added ability to utilize sheetrock on the inside face of any interior wall. This is particularly useful in closets, bathrooms or on any walls that you would prefer to paint an accent color.

We also offer an Economy Log package. This is similar to the Panelized Log package, yet with most of the wood on the interior surfaces removed, and the interior materials a little more affordable. As an example, we will supply 6 panel solid core (primed) Masonite doors instead of 6 panel pine, and we will supply wide MDF (primed) base and casing instead of 1x 4 pine. This is a great starter package and can allow folks to build their log home exterior at a lower overall cost.
